We are proud to have been DB Domestics digital partner since 2011 when we first took over and re-built their ecommerce website. In this time we have seen both their business and their adoption of digital grow rapidly.
In 2017 we were approached by DB Domestics to assess a new EPoS system they were considering adopting. The issue we were asked to help solve was to see if it was possible for the EPoS system to use the ecommerce websites stock levels (or visa versa).
It quite quickly dawned on us that it would be quicker (and cheaper) for us to build a custom EPoS system on top of our existing eCommerce solution rather than looking into using any third party integrations. DB Domestics agreed to this and the project was underway.
DB Domestics now have a fully tailored EPoS system using a single stock control system, with a central point for the reporting of all sales. In addition, we built a dispatch system which assists them in the management of local deliveries. The result is a system that saves them an awful lot of time and energy, allows them to make more money and can continue to be refined.
