Mobile responsive web design.

We design all our websites with full mobile responsive functionality, so they seamlessly work on all device sizes, from mobile to desktop.

In our post postmodernist world form still follows function. We will help define the functionality and purpose of your website and tailor a bespoke design exactly to your requirements. We get a real buzz out of pushing the boundaries of design.

We deliver highly efficient layouts for content delivery and user-engagement (focussing on User Experience, UX ).

"Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works"

- Steve Jobs, Apple

Design services we provide:

  • Bespoke website design
  • Logo and corporate branding
  • User Experience design
  • User Interface design

What we don't do:

  • Use excessive animation that makes return visitors feel nauseous
  • Buy templates and sell them off as our work

Our process

Step 1 - Purpose

What is the purpose of the design, who is it for, what does it hope to achieve? How ambitious are you? Do you want to disrupt, or just fit it?

Step 2 - Specification

We create a specification of works, which will include costs.

Step 3 - Research and Designs

Lets get cracking. A degree of research is important, if we feel we need to get out of the office and visit Tate Modern with you, we will. Research triggers inspiration.

From the research we start the design, creating re-usable elements. All work is presented as mock-ups using interactivity wherever possible to illustrate the User Experience.

Step 4 - Acceptance and Revisions

A little Ronseal this phase as 'it does what it says on the tin'. if we need to revise our designs, we take the time to understand why, then revise as necessary.

Things to think about if you are considering a design revision

Purpose

As we have mentioned previously, the requirement is to get to the nitty gritty of your purpose. Here are some good and bad examples:

'Because we don't like our current design.' - Great, that is why you are here. But not a purpose...
'We look old and tired next to our competitors.' - Better, but we can do better still...
'We are not converting enough through our digital channels.' - Bang on!

Start your own research

The key to research is to make it part of your normal routine. What?... Seriously, research can be as simple as just keeping your eyes open and noticing more. Here are some ideas:

  • Bookmark websites you like (and hopefully not just the biggest and best in your industry or sector)
  • Keep food wrappers that you like (really..!)
  • Take pictures of places, products, and colours
  • Why do you like that Coffee?
  • What do you 'think' about that (your examples here) when you look at it?
